Life is Short.
Go On Vacation.
I’ve always been shaped by grind culture. When the world paused during COVID-19, my spouse and I took that rare stillness as a sign—it was time to pursue something of our own. We launched a retail business, hoping it might be our path out of corporate life. Four years later, we've grown that business beyond what we imagined—yet somehow, we’re still holding onto our corporate jobs, too.
Then reality came crashing in: I was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor that required immediate surgery. The aftermath changed everything—my medications, my vision, my balance—but most of all, it changed my perspective. Like many who face life-altering moments, I began reevaluating what truly matters. At the top of that list was travel.
I created Doux Travel as a resource for thoughtful product reviews, honest reflections on travel destinations, and tips to help you get the most out of your vacation. This blog also places a special emphasis on traveling with physical limitations—because everyone deserves a meaningful, accessible adventure.
Bon voyage!
